The testo Saveris 2 WiFi data logger system is the easy, versatile and reliable solution for the measurement and monitoring of temperature and humidity values in your storage, refrigerated and work rooms. Installing the system is child’s play and can be carried out either via a browser or with the testo Saveris 2 App.

Humidity and temperature monitoring with testo Saveris 2

The temperature, humidity, light intensity, UV radiation and CO2 monitoring system consists of at least one WiFi data logger and a free Cloud access (online data store). As a component of this data logger system, the testo Saveris 2 and testo 160 data logger with the connectable temperature and humidity, light intensity, UV radiation and CO2 concentration optional probes stores all measured values and transmits them directly by wireless LAN to the Testo Cloud. You can use the alarm function to receive immediate warnings by e-mail or SMS (optional) when limit values are violated.

The Testo Cloud packages: Basic (free) and Advanced

The Testo Cloud is the core operating element for setting up your testo Saveris 2 system. Here you can configure your WiFi data loggers, set limit value alarms and analyze your measurement data. You can access all measuring values and analysis functions anywhere and at any time with an internet-capable smartphone, tablet or PC. You must first register at www.saveris.net to have access to the Testo Cloud.
Depending on the range of functions you require, you have a choice between the free Basic and the more extensive Advanced functionality for use of the Testo Cloud:

If you opt for the advantages of the Advanced package, this also gives you a choice between licence packages which differ in terms of their validity period (12-month licence with order no. 0526 0735, 24-month licence with order no. 0526 0732 and 36-month licence with order no. 0526 0733).

WiFi data logger: advantages and functions

Current measuring values, limit value violations and the remaining battery life can be seen in the data logger’s display. The standard batteries (AA) have a lifetime of 12 months and can be replaced at any time by users themselves. The internal data memory of the WiFi data logger has a capacity of 2 x 10,000 readings and the housing is protected according to IP54.

  • Monitoring the micro-climate in a display cabinet

Reliable monitoring of ambient conditions in a display cabinet plays a decisive role in protecting valuable and sensitive exhibits. An unstable micro-climate in the display cabinet can result in damage to the objects. A WiFi data logger in the testo 160 range detects when limit values are critically exceeded and ensures the safety of your museum objects through its alarm function. This small WiFi data logger can also be placed discreetly in a display cabinet.  

  • Checking and documenting the ambient conditions in the exhibition room 

Paintings, sculptures and other exhibits may be badly damaged by an unsuitable climate in the exhibition room. Micro-cracks and fissures, which gradually grow larger, are the consequence of an unsuitable or highly fluctuating ambient climate. With WiFi data loggers in the testo 160 series, you can monitor the key parameters of temperature and relative humidity at all times. In this way, the WiFi data logger helps you to avoid climate-related damage. As loan items are often exhibited, a museum’s reputation relies on the careful handling of such items. Consistent documentation of climatic conditions is generally included in a loan agreement. By storing data in the Testo Cloud, the museum can not only provide lenders with this documentation but can also offer them access at all times to the current climate conditions at their object.   • Protecting museum objects through light and climate measurements 

Unsuitable light conditions, as well as the wrong indoor climate, pose a huge risk to exhibition objects. They accelerate natural ageing processes and cause irreparable micro-cracks and discolouration.
